These terms govern your use of the NTROPX app and website. By downloading or using NTROPX, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What NTROPX is

NTROPX is a personal-finance app that runs on your own computer. It reads statements you provide and produces budgets, cash-flow, net-worth, and AI-assisted insights. It is a tool for organizing your own financial information.

2. Not financial advice

NTROPX is not a financial advisor, and its output is for informational purposes only. It is not investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice. Decisions about your money are yours; consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email address. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the activity under your account. Provide an accurate email so we can reach you about your account and subscription.

4. Subscription and billing

• NTROPX offers a free trial. After the trial, continued access to the AI-powered features costs $5 per month.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Even without an active subscription, the app and the data you've already imported keep working — only the AI features pause.
• Prices may change; we'll give notice before a change affects you.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — for example, don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, and don't use NTROPX for unlawful purposes.

6. Your data

Your financial data stays on your device; you are responsible for backing it up. How we handle the limited data that does leave your device is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. The app is provided "as is"

NTROPX is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its calculations are complete or accurate for your situation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NTROPX and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any financial decisions or losses arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using NTROPX at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. You can continue to use your locally stored data with or without an active subscription, subject to section 4.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
